* If you reside in the UK you

* If you are not a UK resident, you are responsible for ensuring
that you do not violate your state, territory or country's laws
by using The Healing Pond website and consulting services.
* The condition that you seek to address must be medically non-urgent.
* You must have read and understood the Policies and Disclaimers
published within the Healing Pond Website and agreed to proceed.
Although each consultation is given
the highest professional attention, we cannot guarantee either
a positive prognosis or a cure, nor assume responsibility for
events affecting the patient on a physical, mental or emotional
level, which may prejudice the homeopathic treatment outcome,
including but not restricted to regular use of or addiction to
alcohol or recreational drugs. Whilst we assure you of our best
possible efforts for those who apply for treatment, online or
otherwise, please note that we do not claim to cure each and every
case, nor do we guarantee any magical cure. The homeopathic medicines
are essentially free from side effects and we take no responsibility
for any presumed complications.
Patients who use the consulting
service whilst already under the care of another health professional,
such as nutritional therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, GP
or other medical or complementary consultant, are responsible
for informing their existing practitioners.
Patients using the consulting service
will remain under the overall clinical responsibility of their
General Practitioner or Medical Doctor throughout the homeopathic
treatment. Responsibility for adjusting or withdrawing prescribed
drugs lies solely with the patient and the prescriber of those
drugs.
We reserve the right to decline
or terminate treatment where it is deemed to be in the best interest
of the patient, or where professional boundaries cannot be maintained,
or for any reason at our discretion, including wilful submission
of improper, misleading or irrelevant information.
Patients using the consulting service
may suspend their treatment at any time by notifying Eleana Needham
by letter or e-mail. Payment is for a homeopathic consideration
of the case and, once this has been undertaken, no refunds will
be given. We cannot assume responsibility for refunds in respect
of remedies purchased from any homeopathic pharmacy or other supplier
as a result of receiving a recommendation from us. Accounts terminated
due to policy violations will not be refunded.
Please be advised that you need
to give us 48 hours notice for a cancellation or change to your
appointment. Otherwise the full consultation fees will be charged.
If you think you are suffering
from a medical condition see your GP. Do not self-diagnose. Tell
your Doctor if you are taking homeopathic medicines. You should
never disregard medical advice or delay in seeking it because
of something you have read at The Healing Pond website.
Some diseases are notifiable by
law. It is the responsibility of the therapist to be aware which
diseases fall into this category in their country and to notify
the appropriate authorities when necessary.
This site aims to promote education
and understanding of Homeopathy only, not any other subject. There
is no recommendation or endorsement, express or implied, for any
therapy, modality or adjunct as to its medicinal use, application
or suitability for any medical condition.
Terms like 'remedy', 'course of
treatment', etc. are only in reference to homeopathic therapy
not any other.
The owners of this site do not
necessarily agree with or condone the views expressed in some
authors' contributions on this site, but such views are represented
